The press conference of the 7th Shizuoka International Opera Competition was held at Tokyo International Forum on September 13, 2013. Seiji MORIYAMA, Vice Governor of Shizuoka Prefecture and Toshimitsu KIMURA, Vice Director of Board as well as Chairperson of the Judging Committee of the 7th competition, attended the conference and announced the guidelines of the 7th competition.

Mr. MORIYAMA said, "I hope  many talented opera singers around the world will join the competition, the gateway to success."
