MORI Masashi

Japan/ Bass, Professor at the Nagoya College of Music

Graduated from the training program at the Opera Studio, New National Theatre Tokyo. Studied in Milan as a trainee dispatched overseas by the Agency for Cultural Affairs Government of Japan. As a research student of the ROHM Music Foundation, she belonged to the Opera Training Program affiliated with the Teatro dell'Opera di Bologna, appearing in numerous concerts and performing at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro dell'Opera di Cagliari, and the Martina Franca Opera Festival. After membership in the Dresden State Opera's Junges Ensemble, performed numerous roles in Japan in national co-productions and in Yutaka Sado-produced operas. Recipient of the 7th Hiroyuki Iwaki Music Award. Recipient of the 35th Toyama Award (Culture and Arts Category). Professor at Nagoya College of Music. Member of the Nikikai Opera Company.
