The 9th Mt. Fuji International Opera Competition of Shizuoka, originally scheduled for 2020, has been postponed to 2023, due to the spread of coronavirus infection.

The new Guide for Applicants was released on October 4 2022, with revisions made such as raising the age limit (only for the 9th Competition postponed).
