Message

My classes and seminars are principally designed for students who are interested in international relations (IR). IR theories can be applied to an array of issues in the contemporary world, including security, economic cooperation and international migration. Various regions such as Africa, East Asia, Europe and South America are examined. However, there is a special focus on European countries partly because my main research area is Southern European politics.
The European integration process has had a significant influence on numerous political arenas in this region and will be considered in terms of its outcomes and limitations.
